The trophy was achieved for the Partnership’s ground-breaking four stage research programme, Getting Under the Skin – a programme which explored the impact of Covid-19 on ethnic communities across Cheshire and Merseyside.
The multi-award-winning research has given us a deeper understanding of the impact of Covid-19 on our ethnic communities and has provided tools to help address vaccine hesitancy.
Insights from the programme have also proved instrumental in improving communication, engagement and trust between the Partnership and different ethnic communities – building stronger bonds which will last into the future.
The research was a joint commissioned programme with Public Health England, NHS England and Improvement and the CHAMPS public health collaborative, alongside PR and digital marketing agency, Influential, who supported the programme with product design.
NHS Cheshire Clinical Commissioning Group, who were shortlisted in the same category, were ‘Highly Commended’ at the awards ceremony for their campaign ‘Spreading the Vaccine, not the Virus: A Network of Networks’.
The Partnership wasn’t the only Cheshire and Merseyside organisation to bring home a gong, and we’d like to congratulate the Innovation Agency for winning in the category of ‘Provider Collaboration of the Year’, for their work in Atrial Fibrillation Ambassadors in the Community.
A total of 11 trusts and organisations from Cheshire and Merseyside were finalists in last night’s awards, held in London, and the Partnership would like to extend our congratulations to all of them.
It’s been a big week for the NHS across Cheshire and Merseyside as Bridgewater Community Healthcare brought home the award for ‘Best Recruitment Experience’ in the Nursing Times Workforce Awards, which took place on Wednesday Evening.
